JFrog with Loonar: confidence in every release
Loonar connects the JFrog platform to your operation so teams can manage artifacts, bring security into development and support release decisions with evidence. The alliance combines local licensing and billing in Brazil with structured implementation, training and Portuguese support, bringing engineering, security and operations into a consistent workflow that teams can maintain.
JFrog official websiteAbout JFrog
JFrog provides a software supply chain platform spanning the journey from package to runtime. JFrog Artifactory is a universal artifact repository. JFrog Xray performs software composition analysis, or SCA, while JFrog Curation blocks malicious packages at intake. JFrog Advanced Security brings together contextual analysis, secrets detection, infrastructure as code analysis, or IaC, and SAST. JFrog AppTrust supports release governance built on evidence. JFrog Runtime, JFrog ML and AI Catalog extend that scope, including governance for AI models and resources. Loonar chose this alliance to connect software delivery and Cybersecurity, making controls part of the engineering workflow rather than a separate checkpoint disconnected from everyday delivery decisions.
What the alliance delivers
Architecture built around your operation
We design SaaS, self-hosted or hybrid adoption around connectivity, operational ownership and internal requirements. Your context drives the choice, with explicit criteria for implementing, maintaining and evolving the platform as your needs change.
Migration that keeps teams working
We plan migrations from other repositories to JFrog Artifactory with an inventory, coexistence strategy and workflow validation. The goal is to maintain team continuity while dependency resolution and artifact publishing move to their new destination.
Security inside development workflows
We integrate the platform with pipelines and IDEs to bring controls closer to engineering work. Together, we define security policies, exception handling and SBOM practices, with clear owners and criteria for reviewing progress.
Evidence behind release decisions
We structure release governance with JFrog AppTrust, connecting evidence to approval criteria. Engineering and security can assess decisions in a shared context, with defined responsibilities and exception paths rather than disconnected approval conversations.
Governance for AI models
We support JFrog ML and AI Catalog adoption to organize governance for AI models and resources. This work connects with your DevOps and Cybersecurity practices according to the scope agreed with your team.

How we work together
Discovery and design
We map repositories, dependencies, pipelines and security requirements. With your teams, we design the JFrog architecture and migration plan, prioritizing risk, development continuity and acceptance criteria that can be checked before wider adoption.
Local licensing
We help define the JFrog product scope and arrange licensing with local billing in Brazil. The proposal documents terms, responsibilities and planned services so the commercial agreement follows the technical design your teams approve.
Implementation and integrations
We configure repositories, access and policies, connect pipelines and IDEs, and migrate in stages. Publishing, dependency resolution and security controls are validated before the rollout expands to additional workflows across your engineering environment.
Training and adoption
We train development, platform and security teams on the workflows they will own. Sessions cover artifact publishing, risk analysis and exception handling using examples from your environment, supported by practical documentation in Portuguese.
Support and evolution
We provide Portuguese support and review operations with your team. As requirements change, we refine policies, integrations and governance practices, connecting platform evolution with the wider DevOps and Cybersecurity work delivered by Loonar.
Can we migrate from another artifact repository to Artifactory without stopping work?
A migration can be designed to keep teams working, but the approach depends on your repositories, formats and existing integrations. Loonar starts with an inventory and defines coexistence, validation and rollback plans. The transition happens in stages, with tests for artifact publishing and consumption. Any necessary maintenance windows or workflow changes are agreed before execution. We do not promise an impact-free migration for every environment.
What is the difference between Xray and Curation?
JFrog Xray performs software composition analysis to identify dependency risks and support security policies. JFrog Curation works at intake, blocking malicious packages before they enter the workflow. They serve complementary purposes rather than representing different names for the same control. Loonar helps determine where each product belongs, who reviews findings and how exceptions are handled, so the controls fit the way development teams actually work.
Can I buy JFrog through Loonar in Brazilian reais?
Yes. You can buy JFrog through Loonar in Brazilian reais, with billing in Brazil and terms defined in the proposal. The agreement reflects the products you need and how your organization plans to use them. Implementation, migration, training and Portuguese support can also be included in the agreed scope. This keeps the technical design and each party’s responsibilities clear before the work begins.
Shall we design the next version of your operation?
Tell us the challenge. One conversation with a specialist gives you a clear path, even if it isn't time to buy yet.
